I shot this crazy car a few months ago in Columbus before Import faceoff and I can honestly say, I don't think I will ever shoot a car of equal quality in my lifetime. This is the owner's race car, but he also has a 800 hp S4 daily driver and an absurd hp corvette. The shop that did most of the the work was Accelerated Performance in Toledo, Ohio and a lot of the engine work was done by David Localio at Headgames. Just to name a few things that were crazy to me aside from the horsepower and 1/4 time was the fact that the engine is completely polished and the dash is carbon fiber, covered in suede. It's like this supra has a disassociative disorder; a drag monster, stuck inside of a show car's body. This issue comes with a special edition calendar so be sure to check it out. Also check out my blog later next week for a guest post by Art Director/Photographer of Import Tuner, Clint Davis (Sonic Zoom), for a video build up of the compositing that went into this cover image.

lol, if you call 1600hp and 7.81 in the quarter normal, than I think we have bigger problems. :p

It's an intake into the engine bay. That's why there is a hole cut in the glass.

The car, & the first shot of it, are both winners. I'm in serious envy! ;)
