Took a bunch of shots on the PA leg of their recently cancelled tour, some of which are being used on their website. This one is from their Philly gig. The venue was incredibly dark; the lighting was very poor, and basically center stage only. Band members on the sides would disappear into the gloom. This was shot with the 50 f1.4 1/50 sec @ f1.4 ISO 400. Resized and had hue and saturation played with.

For Live Performance shooting it's "Lighting, lighting, lighting": includes both amount and temperature! This shot is pretty good given all the constraints.

Holy cow! I didn't know they were still alive! Was it sponsored by AARP? (kidding of course)

That's what my girlfriend said. :)

Of course it's a much thinner Lucas as opposed to the current one doing an impression of Jabba the Hutt with a beard ;)
