From a recent visit to Phoenix. Lots of US Air and Southwest, I was able to get a few of the special paint schemes. During the trip I discovered my 1.4TC was causing some severe front focusing. Hence I have a ton of soft shots :( I guess I will have to go back and re-shoot these!

#1 Standard paint, 400mm

Nice collection of schemes there. I missed the Cardinal one when I called it quits one day and as I drove away, it flew by, haven't seen it since.
I'm sure it was an oversight, but you missed another common scheme they wear that should be next to your #1 picture as the normal scheme, posted below.

The retro-liveries from the airlines before the merger are pretty cool...

(I'll assume you're being serious.) There's a building in front of the plane.

You should never assume I'm serious, I rarely am. Forgot to incert the :). Just thought the building's mask of the engines and gear made for a good optical elusion. :o

Interesting shots. A week or so ago I flew from Charlotte NC to Seattle and back on US Air in Airbus A321's, which I presume is what these are. Only saw the standard paint schemes as in pic #1. Saw lots of Southwest Airlines in Seattle, some Alaska, and some Virgin America.
