We probably had 8-10 TDs called back for holding this year in Youth League. I love it... twice the opportunity to capture scores... parents buy TD runs regardless if they're called back afterwards.

One of those was probably my son - but his was an illegal block in the back. They incorporated video of that one into the team's end of the year DVD, and I cringed every time it was shown. I talked to the coach after the game, and he said it was a bogus call, so I felt a little better. My favorites are the non-called holds (a girl holding him, BTW):
And possibly my favorite "Who, me?" shot (it helps that #45 is giving him the proverbial "what for"):
And on the flip side, one of the nicest displays of sportsmanship I saw all year - in the excitement over the TD, no one noticed that #61 was hurt, so #57 helped him up and over to the other side - it's OOF, but I still like it.
And while I understand the ref/player ratio makes it easy to miss calls, so to speak, I believe the league is going to ban texting by the officials after this year:
It was a pre-season scrimmage, but still.
