As a portrait lens I dare say its probably even better than it is as a Macro. f/2 for Macro would be very difficult to use on a regular basis without it looking kind of overused. But in the right hands and under the right conditions it could create something special. But as a portrait lens... WOW... it just REALLY shines. Alan "NuReality" Fronshtein

But likely neither will happen... but here's to wishful thinking. Alan "NuReality" Fronshtein

RPCrowe Cream of the Crop More info | How is the bokeh with the 60mm Tammy macro? My 90mm f/2.8 Tammy has some of the most beautiful bokeh produced by any lens. If the 60mm f/2 Tammy produces nice bokeh, it would be a great portrait lens with a 96mm equivalent! See my images at http://rpcrowe.smugmug.com/

AF performance (though as a MF guy I will not weigh that too heavily,) IQ, and, of course, bokeh. Macro is not really my pursuit. GEAR LIST
