Peru / Colombia.

As I am slowly picking through my photos, here are a few more that I would like to share.

The first two were taken in Peru, very close to the Bolivian Frontier.
They are the Uros people. They live on floating islands constructed of reed. The moved to the lake to escape an aggressive Incan neighbour long ago. It was quite a sad place, very crowded on the island and much of the population looked quite unwell.

i was just there last month in Peru as well , the floating islands were great, i was actually on that same island , have the same women in my shots

It was quite an experience, eh? Did you do carry on to the Isla de Amantani and Taquile (sp) after the floating Island?
