It's obvious for me that the clear one is better. BTW, is the bug on the flower intentional?

I like the second picture very much

the top one is very 'pushy'
(or something is making it unattractive to me)

I think the composition all over looks better in the painting effect (last shot)
I like it a lot
I know the centre of the main flower is fuzzy but because of the effect it seems to work
it's a very nice picture

Thanks everyone. Sorry for the slow response.

It looks like it's a draw.

After looking at these pics for a couple days I can't decide either. In fact, I am not really happy with either one anymore. The first one has that distracting bug and a stray piece of green in front of the flower. The second one I liked a lot the day I took it. I even printed it and hung it on my wall of fame. Now, after looking at it next to my other wall of fame pics I noticed it doesn't really fit in. My style is more sharp and contrasty than that pic. It looks alright, but I'll have to change my style in order for it to match any of my galleries.
