I am not one who considers a FF body as a step up. But, am open to suggestions. Maybe I missed something. Best reason to get a 5D II?

Better resolution and lower noise at high ISO as well as thinner depth of field for better isolation in portraits.

1. You're bored with what you have and would like to mix it up with something new.
2. You need the high ISO performance
3. You like the idea of video
4. You run a business and can write off the purchase
5. 21 MP is important to you
6. You're vein
7. sRAW is important to you
8. You'd like to see a new perspective through your lenses
9. Your two 7D's are redundant
10. All the cool kids are doing it

Hopefully you found at least one or two of these somewhat helpful.

P.S. I don't own nor have I used a 5D2.

Best reason. Because you want it, can afford it, and if you get tired of it, you are out almost no money. Sounds like win+win+win. Three wins make it a good decision.
