The girls season started on the road tonight.. in a nice new/bright arena (opened for last season)...BUT with nasty glass to shoot through.. some white, some bluish tint and with a net around the short glass to protect spectators .. Most are a bit soft after dealing with trying to at least make them look usable. Only ended up using 12 from the game, with a lot being really unmanageable.

No puck in this one but I love the eyes.. she's always intense, and killing a powerplay.
2. An example of some of the softness from the glass, the team captain and leader.
3. Still through the glass but I found a corner in the third period that was cleaner. The captain's sister, who played a lot of varsity as an 8th grader last year.
I should have taken a picture of the dirty glass itself. It's a decent arena to watch hockey in, long as you're not taking pictures of the game! The hardest part was FINDING the arena as there are no lighted signs and it's off the main road 1/2 mile in the dark!
