I would love one that has quick release. I have the standard optech one, and the quick releases are about 1/3 the way down the strap. So it still leaves me with a lot of strap in my way. Enough that it is hardly worth it. Is there one that releases all the way at the camera? So maybe only some small loops are left and nothing to dangle in front of my lens or LCD? Taylor

When I don't want to use a strap it's little and generally isn't in my way. I do that too, but the strap is still almost as big as a regular strap and hangs in front of the lens and VF when shooting without the strap around my neck. Just what I want to avoid.
