Is it me or is the only way to find threads you started is by finding somewhere you posted and clicking on public profile find all the threads you started. Is that really the only way? Access via your User CP just too obvious? :p

I keep looking for threads and I have my profile bookmarked so I can use it for such since there seems to be no other way.

An easy way of doing this is to look for yourself in the "who's online" list (you'll be the first one in the list) and click on your name there.

It's a bit of an oddity with vBulletin, that's true.

Or you could go to your user profile and add it as a favourite in your internet browser...

If you know the forum, or section, you can search that part for threads started by you, or any user.

Yeah I know that for the sell area but other than that, I generally forget where I posted something sometimes.

Advanced search lets you look for threads created by any particular user.

I subscribe to the threads that I post in (you can do that in your preferences) and my normal procedure is to click on "User CP" at the left end of the blue bar at the top of the page rather than looking at any particular forum. That will give me a list of all my recent posting. Since I post in several different forums, this gives me a very fast way to check for any follow-up posts. After that, I normally browse through my favorite forums to see the latest postings.

Give it a try and I suspect that it might become your favorite method of browsing.

I do that but sometimes I'm looking for older threads I started and others I kill the subscription as I hate keeping old subscriptions so I only keep about 3-5 pages worth.

Same thing for me -- then I head off to the search engine if it is no longer on my list. Finding the right keywords can be the big challenge.

When I go to User CP, which is my homepage, and sometimes a new post is on a very old thread I forgot about. :D

I have about 8500 subscribed threads. They only appear in my user cp list when there are new posts available.
