total beginer

hi all i have just bought a second hand 350d and i am totaly new to proper photography and would like any and all tips on insperation usage and anything else you think i would find usefull .........thanks.

Pick up understanding exposure (book) by Bryan Peterson. It's $17 well spent!

I just started reading Digital photography for dummies and I would totally recommend it. It's not too in depth that you get lost, and it still the content that youll see mentioned by more experienced people.

At the top of most of the forums you'll find threads that are designed to remain at the top of the section. They're called "sticky" threads and they contain all kinds of useful information to help you get started in photography.

Also, the best way to get assistance is to ask a specific question about something you want to learn about or a problem you're having. The more specific your question, the better the response you'll get.

thanks everybody just hope i can get some where near the quaility i have seen so far

From my own early experiences of my first DSLR, don't be too disheartened with early results, the learning curve is quite steep compared to my previous point and shoot experience.
