Oh yes!

But I don't see any "L"s in your sig., or multiple camera bodies, so you've still got a chance. I recommend Lens-a-holics anonymous.

Call toll-free, "800 LENS-MANIAC".

I have to get "good enough" to justify upgrading bodies or making the move to the L lenses. My next lense is a 10-22 which will cost more than my XS body.....LOL

Don't hesitate....that lens is a gem. Though be ready for the shocking learning-curve that comes with it.....

Oh, you're only touching the tip of the iceberg. Wait until you get a taste for L glass.

I know what you mean. Once you feel L glass, consumer stuff feels so cheap. But I do love my 50/1.4 even though it's my only non-L.

Yeah, I started with a Rebel film camera and a 28-80 years ago. Then I found out I could spend more and get the 28-105. I thought that was expensive. What did I know?

Put on your seatbelt and don't shoot with anyone with L glass! You'll never look at your wallet again without crying. :)

although i know it's not an expensive lens, over all I have spent a good chunk of change in the last 10 months on my gear with some regrets - meaning i realize i should have gotten a better body to begin with. Now i have most of what i need to be able to shoot most anything and hopefully can cut my losss by making a few bucks here and there. Then bring on the new bodies and all the new glass i can handle. I can't wait!! My two next purchases will probably be in the form of a wireless sync maybe pocket wizard or similar so i can start using off camera flash, and a light meter. I have no idea how to use either. LOL
