Had the privilege of shooting another rocky mountain wedding in Canmore, AB.

1. 40D/10-22 - 40D/10-22 The ceremony was outside with a lovely backdrop. The lighting was killer though. the sun was to the bride's back, which put her face in dark shadow.

2. D700/50 1.4 - D700/50 1.4
A bit of cloud cover rolled through which allowed some available light shots.

3. 1Ds3/10-22 - 1Ds3/70-200
Bridal party was fun! And the mountains were gorgeous!

4. 40D/10-22 - 40D/10-22
The bride provided parasols for the guests during the ceremony. So they used them as photo props.

5. 40D/10-22 - 1D3/24-105
Back alleys are great for weddings. =)

We then went to the BAR!

6. 1D3/11-16 - 1D3/11-16

7. 1Ds3/85 1.8 - 1Ds3/85 1.8

8. 1Ds3/70-200 - 1Ds3/70-200

As always, a great set of pictures. Was it really nice enough in AB recently to be outside without parkas?

air base? hahaha. I used to work at air force bases, but up here they're all called CFB (canadian forces base).

Lloyd, the bar stools ahot is classic! I'm going to have to do that one. And the lighting with the wide from the ground is very nice. Another great wedding. I'm going to fly up to Alberta to meet with you sometime. The group looked like fun and that makes a huge difference.

Lloyd, I absolutely love all of these! I think #3 would be my fave - both photos, the bottom one should go on the wall! And I love the bridesmaids photos, so fun!

3b! That's the one! really like the bar shots too. 8 just doesn't do it for like the others. Maybe it's just because I saw the others first. I think it's because they are so small in the frame and they aren't really being scaled with anything.... like say, those big ole mountains in 3b... did i mention that 3b is sweeeet?
