My brother and I just ran our first Half Marathon this past weekend in Monterey, CA. We had a blast! Well....I had a blast and my brother has told me "Hell NO" to any more races! LOL
While we were down there we took some time to just build upon our photography skills and just shoot what looked good. I found that many of my pics looked like just some snapshots (which wasn't a bad thing), but I took this opportunity to mess with the PP. I normally don't do much PP, but let's see what everyone thinks!
All shots were with the "nifty 50". C&C is always welcomed!
#1 - we parked next to a little cafe and there was this bike next to the light pole, it just looked like a scene from the 60's.
#2 - my favorite Pub on the Row. Tried to give it more of a "rust" feel with the PP
#3 - A bronze bust of Steinbeck that sits near the main plaza
#4 - Just a couple gulls on top a roof on the north side of the aquarium. I know the shot is pretty dark, but thought it just fit the scene.
#5 - A B&W of a row of lights on the backside of the new Intercontinental Hotel
#6 - Chocolate anyone?
#7 - A shot of the light polls near that little cafe
Thanks for looking! C&C will only make me a better photographer
