Well I was pretty proud of these photos until I emailed them to my work pc to upload them here this morning....they all seem to be VERY VERY bright on this monitor so I apoligize if they are lacking in quality, they looked perfect on my home pc.

ANWAYS!

I had a bit of time the other day and decided to take a few shots of my CWD Reptar, truly, the ugliest little handsome dragon ever.

I think I've explained this before but I obtained him for free from a well known pet store, who were UNABLE to sell him due to his current state of health. He had horrible skin infections, a broken tail, internal parasites, mouth rot, and wouldn't eat at all....pretty much, he was on his death bed.

After a couple of weeks of warm medicated baths, some injections and medicines, and tons of force feeding (and I do mean FORCE feeding, little bugger wouldn't eat worth crap), we finally healed him back to health.

BUT man is he one ugly beast of a dragon! but makes my two female dragons very happy.

I will post the full body shots later on this evening when I get home, as I only had these two PP'ed and ready to post.

Oh, and if all goes well....these will hopefully be the newest addition to the family as we find good homes for them.

5 Igs!? Wow, I would die if my CWDs got anywhere near the size of an Ig.

Reptar here is only about 18-20 inches long....and we believe he is about 2 years old....hard to tell with how unhealthy and small he was when we got him from the store. Then again....we did have to cut about half of his tail off because it was dead and decomposing. So he prolly lost a good 4-6 inches from that.

My two females (Trog and Yoshi) are only about 14-16 inches long. Oh, and thanks about the eggs....this will be her....4th or 5th clutch actually, each of which had about 6-8 eggs.

I don't think he's ugly at all. I love lizards. Beautiful animals. Great shots and thanks for healing him up so nicely! I'm sure he's grateful too! :)

Nope, not ugly at all, very pretty I think, helped by the fact that green is my favourite colour.

Thank you everyone for your kinda compliments and defiantely compliments towards Reptar, if he could, I'm sure he would be very appreciative.

Haha, bruised and broken he's still one sexxy beast of a Chinese Water Dragon....with an attitude to add to it.

I'll try to do another photo shoot with Yoshi and Trog and post some pics of them up soon, they are my beauties...kinda waiting on my 100mm macro at the moment so hopefully some good pics will come from that.

Haha, yeah....I tend to stick with names that are related to dragons, lizards, or reptiles a little hence why all 4 of my dragons are named after well known dragons/dinosaurs/etc.

Spyra or Spira (was gonna be Spyro but it turned out to be a girl)
Yoshi (female, but the name still fits as either/or)
Reptar (ofcourse the beastly man you've seen above)
and last but not least
Trog or Trogdor the Burninator (you can see why we just say Trog, but it's also a she....and we never changed the name cause she's kinda a manly looking female)
