canon flash stand

I'm trying to look for authentic canon flash stands...why does it seem so hard to find these? I keep seeing nikon flash stands but not canon. I know there are some on ebay but I read that those won't allow your 580EX II's to lock on..

maybe someone can point me to the right direction?

are you talking about the stand that came with it? have you tried calling Canon?

Yeah, the stand that comes with the canon speedlite. i haven't tried calling..ill try that i guess. just seems a bit crazy that it's so hard to find it available online.

An eBay cheapie will do just as good for minimal cost. It's not really worth hassling Canon or looking for a Canon version.

Yea Canon is probably gonna be your best bet on this one. I have never seen them anywhere else.

since you arent locking your pins into any contacts, why would you care if the locking lever was snugged up. They fit tight enough without being locked to be secure. If you want more than that, get a stand.
