Last week was the regional finals for the English schools cross country event. Now to say it rained a little is a huge understatement as it chucked it down, not the best for using a 30D (did stop working, but has dried out fine now (I hope))

These are great shots! What dedication from the runners (and the photographer). I hope your camera dries out and works right!

I think both are excellent. They really show the soul of Cross Country - not appreciated very much. I know it sucks shooting CC in the rain, but it was worth it. You might try hooking an umbrella on your tripod (fine if your not moving a lot) or some of the very inexpensive plastic rain sleeves. The framing and titles are nice too - I wish I knew how to copy them.
