I mis-read that as backlight :) assume this long UV lighting ?

Works well especially with the scorpions . wonder why they fluoresce ?- not known for going to discos I think.

its blacklight Brian ,like you see in nightclubs make white fluoresce ,or in some fish tanks or bank note checker

Great idea using a black-light. Ive gotta try that sometime.

Sorry to meander way off topic but since he mentioned that the scorpion was glowing;

Using a blacklight, is a trick we chefs use for getting crab shells out of the crab meat. The shells literally glow, while the meat stays opaque... even though it's white. Alowing you to see the shells with ease. ... Why not try your black-light technique on some other shellfish? just a thought.
