Well, it is well and truly summer again here (though not officially for another 10 days!), and it's time for long days at the trails. Here's one from early this morning, just having fun, nothing too serious. I love the 5D+135L combo.

Sick DOF!!!

May I suggest though you crop out the very OOF portion of ramp in the foreground as well as the gargantuan OOF branch at camera right.

Otherwise .. Killer Image!!

You may suggest, but it's going to stay for now :p Certainly a screw up on my part not noticing the branch until I got it on the computer, but I don't feel the jump in the foreground is an issue. Also, this is how I want it framed so I'll have to accept the other issues until I can reshoot.

Thanks anyway ;)

While there are certainly technical issues in the image, I really like it. Not every images has to be technically perfect anyway. The dirt looks awesome and I love that he's rockin the moto setup on the brakes!

There's nothing "technically" wrong with this image at all.

My suggestions were purely asthetic and if the OP doesn't agree then so be it.

I don't completely agree Jay but let's just leave it at that. In the end, most technical issues are founded in aesthetics on some level anyway.

Great shot! Although the lower blur and the branch on the right is a bit distracting to me.

I like the shot, nice capture. I might have cropped out the little blur at the bottom but that is all for my taste.

i like it a lot too, but it does seem a little tightly framed on the top with the spacing between the rider's head and the edge, still a fine shot
