How did you do the HDR with the Giraffe? Did you just do the background and then layer the Giraffe back in? I've never had any luck with HDR on subjects that can move (because they always do for me)

You are right - its too difficult to bracket an exposure on subjects that move. I made this from 1 shot. Since I shoot in raw, I opened the file in Camera Raw, changed the exposure by 1 stop and save 5 different versions of the image (exposures of -2,-1,0,+1 and +2). I used these 5 exposures (saved files) to create the HDR :)
