Go here and search for: Quantaray Canon
Most of this stuff is rebadged Sigma.

Umm... they also have the actual Sigma 105mm macro for $295. That is a great lens, I own it in both Canon and Nikon mounts.

They sell on ebay a lot. Most of their stuff is refurb, returns, or open box, so make sure to test it thoroughly when you get it home. An open box sigma likely means someone had bad AF calibration.

Also be careful, a lot of that glass is FD mount and some of it isn't clearly listed.

They don't have it anymore. I bought the last one.

Congrats. The macros as far as I know don't have the AF issues. I own three of them and they're all dead on and as sharp as could be.

I took a look at the samples from this lens and I was amazed! I can't wait for it to get here.

The Quantaray stuff I have experienced is rebadged Tamron, not Sigma.

I wonder if they got the Quantaray stuff from the Ritz stores that closed down.

Here's a sample that I've done. This coin is about 40mm in diameter.

I just ordered a Quantaray 19-35mm and a 55-200mm... I figure if they suck, I'm only out 100 bucks, and I can give them to my sister, who uses my old Rebel for a fancy P&S camera.

I'm tempted to snag a Quantaray 18-200. $100 for a travel zoom? Hard to beat.

I have the 19-35 for Nikon and it doesn't suck on my D700. I don't know about the Canon mount version but on the Nikon side it is a FF lens.

if you are going to order from them you may want to check out their bp-511's for $8 and some change. shipping to my house was like $8 so I did not need one that bad.
