Just back from an amazing trip. My photos don't do the country justice, but here are a few of my favorites. C&C is always appreciated.

Those are amazing. I love the colors in #1.

You really captured something in #3. His expression looks so warm and inviting. I bet he was a really friendly model.

Great shots. Interesting nation. Isn't it a tribal land, kind of like a reservation?

Those folks look well-fed. How were the conditions? I realize it's a poor area, but were they suffering or happy?

Excellent colors, btw.

Thank you. bw!

He was friendly, but shy. He loved seeing his photo in my LCD viewer though. He had a beautiful smile, but the only time I ever saw it was when he was looking at his own photo.

Swaziland is a sovereign state, and one of the last true monarchies in the world. The areas we visited were poor, but not as devastated as other parts of the world.

HIV/AIDS is the biggest problem (26% of the population is HIV positive), and it's causing a huge increase in the number of orphans and child-headed households. (Photo #5 above is of an AIDS caregiver we met -- an amazing woman.)

We were there with World Vision who is doing some great things to help. Certainly a lot of need, but a lot of hope as well.
