So I have been looking through the forums for the past week and seeing the same lenses poping up again and again. I was wondering if there is anyone else that is tired of seeing the same lenses poping up? (ya i know this is a lens forum and Q's are repeatedly posted.:))
So if you are tired of a seeing a lens being posted about which lens is it?

None, really. If I see a thread title that does not interest me, I won't click through. Scanning over a list of titles isn't too tiresome.

I get a bit weary seeing the same questions about particular lenses or types of lenses or lens features:

24-70 vs 24-105

Which 70-200?

What's a good UWA for my Rebel/40D/50D?

What's the best lens for _______________ (fill in the lens with your choice of subjects: i.e. "Portraits", "Sports", "Weddings", "Macro")?

Should I upgrade from my kit lens?

Do I need IS?

My personal favorite... Which protective filter should I permanently install on my oh-so-precious new lens?

I haven't gotten sick of reading about any lenses yet. I'm always interested in people's opinions on lenses. Word of mouth is the best advertisement to me. Most of my questions get answered just reading other people's threads.

I say it's gotta be the nifty fifty. Really good lens for the buck but I'm sick of hearing about it..

EF-S 17-55.

^^^^^

Not that I've ever used it, but still... feels like every single lens thread I read somehow has to do with the 17-55.

IMHO the Tokina 11-16 F2.8 is the best UWA lens for a cropper.
EVERYONE ALWAYS need the fastest lens no matter what focal range ;) I prefer a larger aperture to IS and/or more reach (especially for a UWA, generally you buy the lens more for the 10mm than the 22mm, right ?).

I haven't been sick of hearing about any lens. Personal experience is more important to me than a review. That's why I got on this forum in the first place.
No offense but this thread doesn't make sense to me. If someone has to ask about the 50 F1.8, then go on, that's why we're here!

I want to see MORE posts on the Canon EF 400mm f/2.8L I.S. lens, incl pics both OF, and FROM the lens, with and without teleconverters.

I'm also tired of opening a thread, ESP in the Lens Sample Photo Archive, and seeing MORE "comments" than there are PHOTOS. Don't get me wrong, it's nice to see and read feedback of the posted photos, but it would be nice to actually SEE MORE PHOTOS.

If you read my ENTIRE post, I said it's NICE to see and read people's opinions about a lens, it would just be NICE to see MORE PHOTOS taken from said lens!

You don't have to be a smart ass about it. I KNOW if I don't LIKE it, I don't have to READ it!!
