I have had my camera for about six months now and I love it. I love photography and taking pictures of my son to post on our blog and share his life with family that don't live near us.

I am really wanting to get into some macro photography as well, but want to really determine the best lens for my needs first, so renting or borrowing a few before I do that.

However, two items I have on my list so far that I am sure I will get are:

Canon 430EX II Speedlite TTL Shoe-Mount Flash

Kenko Auto Extension Tube Set DG (12, 20, 36mm)

I will be asking for a few B&H gift cards as well so between those and my own funds I can purchase a new lens shortly after x-mas.

I buy all my camera stuff because my family/friends wouldn't know where to get the best deals (usually off the internet, and often used), they would likley look locally and spend $$$.

Anyways my list:

Tamron 17-50 f/2.8 VC (already ordered, just waiting for them to bill me and ship it)
Sigma 30mm f/1.4
battery grip for my 30D
Calumet Genesis 200 light kit
...and I could go on but think I'll stop there. :)

Sony A6000, 16-50PZ, 55-210, 35mm 1.8 OSS
Canon 60D, 30D
Tamron 28-75 2.8, Tamron 17-35, Sigma 50mm 1.4, Canon 85mm 1.8

Do you have a decent tripod? That is important for macro photography.

Oh, and on the "having family buy my stuff"...I literally printed out the exact order number and information from B&H Photo for the flash and extension tubes.

My Christmas wish list this year is short.

1DmkIV and 16-35mkII.......At first I asked for the 7D, but after reading all the reviews, I crossed it out and wrote in the 1DmkIV. Hopefully the wife hadn't already made the order.

Ah, yes; always an excuse for toys! We've never outgrown our inner child, now, have we? I love OT burning a hole in my hand...

EF-S 10-22 and lens hood, TC-80N3 and Vertex 300 AW...and that's the stuff I was able to justify!

I'm asking for a Canon 28mm 1.8 and a 580 EX. Chances are, I'll get socks.

70-200 2.8 is. But I think I'm getting a portable terabyte.
