That's what I figured...best buy has accidental coverage..anything happens to it..they'll fix it and if they can't...they'll replace it.

Make sure the policy really states that ... not just the salesman telling you that.

The sales people there are under such pressure to sell those plans, they will tell you just about anything to make the sale. But, no matter what they told you, your coverage is limited to what is printed in the policy.

I highly doubt Best Buy would actually cover accidental damage. No one does..


I have Applecare on my iPhone and have had it replaced free of charge about 3 times now. 2 of which were probably my fault. Theres a reason why Apple is #1 is customer satisfaction :)

Personally, I would still buy it from Apple. Just get a sleeve and a case :)
