Hi Harm , hope you had a nice holiday :)Hows things up there ?

I am good thanks, had a great week off...1st week I've had off since last Christmas, so it was long overdue...BIL's couldn't cook a damn, so I ended up making 2 thanksgiving dinners (one on the weekend before thanksgiving, when some family members were there before they headed off), then on thanksgiving itself...a warm up to christmas dinner I guess!!

Other than that, and playing with nieces, it was good to wind down. Did you get up to lots of mischief?

Either;
a) Urine is considered sterile by many
b) Hubby is foolish

I don't really know the right answer myself, but I am going with b) to be safe. ;)

Looks great Tiff. :D
Didn't you do more then just a kitchen?

See link above, but first maybe wipe the sleep from your eyes. ;)

Ahhh yeah...the link.

Oh, and Urine is super sterile...you hear stories about people who get huge cuts when out in the middle of nowhere, and if you urinate on those cuts etc. it keeps them from being infected...

Jim, we did a bathroom as well but it's not done. Just the toilet and sink are in there. No lights or shower.

And, I thought I had posted pics of the other addition before. Maybe not. I'll take some tonight before it gets all messed up again.

Hi Jim and Thanks ..
Hows Jasper ? Hows Lisa? How are you doing ?

Jasper is doing just great, starting to get quite fluffy, what with loving the outdoors and the temps dropping. Lisa and me are doing pretty much the same, s l o w l y pulling out of this stupid sickness are were suffering, and getting closer to whole now.

I do remember some photos of your living room before.

So, the bathroom isn't done yet either, kinda over your two week maximum time line, eh?
No worries, we have an ensuite that is being left at the drywall stage until finances allow it to be finished. It is quite big, and the finishing costs will be quite high. We really don't need it (we have two other bathrooms), but will make sure it gets done before we want to sell. ;)

Keep throwing that in my face....I was thinking positive.

The big stuff is done. There are tons of little things that need to be picked away at but it's kind of tricky at the moment as Corey has been working 13-14 hour days seven days a week for a couple of months now and there's no end in sight. But, we're making do. :)

Just reminding you that you are only normal. ;)

Hey, I'm a contractor with all resources I would need at my disposal, and my project is 1 1/2 years old now. Other then the ensuite, we are 95% complete, the remaining 5% is all those little things you speak of that need to get done. Not only has the money run thin, but so has the drive.
Plus, with trying to do most of the rest of the stuff by myself so save some coin, my own time (or lack thereof) becomes a huge factor.

Hi, Deb. We had a very nice T'giving. Thanks. I remember the days when we celebrated at Lois' aunt's house. She believed that guests didn't have to do anything at all, so short of carrying our own dirty dishes into the kitchen, it was a pretty easy ride.

Sure has, it is over 5 weeks now since we first took sick. I can't remember something hanging over me this long before. Well, as far as routine sicknesses go, that is.
