Thanks for the turkey link, I'm thinking we will try it too... hoping for good weather.

Sure. You have a covered area though. That would work.

You should've heard the little boo woo woo that went with it!!!!! DAR-LING!

hehehehehe

OH Here's thelink to more. (external link)... I'm still working on them so will add more tomorrow!

Jenn thank you, those are wonderful:) You got great captures of our first day together! These pictures mean much to us.

Zane....Glad you're okay, although you WILL be sore tomorrow. Lois and I were similarly bashed many years ago, and we were both extremely stiff and sore for several days. We were driving a Porsche 924 Turbo, and the lady who hit us was driving a Buck station wagon. We had stopped for a pooch that was crossing the road. A fellow was following us in a pickup truck and the Buick was behind him. He must have been daydreaming because he swerved to avoid us at the very last second, and the lady never saw us until it was too late to react.

She estimated she was going about 45 mph at the time of impact. It knocked us 137 feet down the road from the point of impact. What really saved our bacon was the cheesiness of the seats in our car. The seats folded back like a recliner, no doubt cushioning the impact somewhat.

You are very lucky that you had inertia in your favor, Zane. (that, and the fact that he tunneled under your truck instead of hitting you full in the back). Having been through it myself, I am very relieved, and cautiously optimistic that you won't have any long term ill effects. Don't be surprised if you're both really sore tomorrow, though.

Thanks Umlauted Tom:) We were very fourtunate no one was hurt.

I'm going to bed. Cooking a turkey dinner is very tiring for an old guy with bad knees. I actually turned down free tickets to the Miss USA/California pageant (external link) at the casino tonight. I have run squarely into the limits of my endurance.

See you all mañana.

Goodnight, Zoë. Watching you grow up is going to be fun for us all.

I'm not short. I'm concentrated awesome!
