Horses eat candy canes?

Oh yeah. Candy canes, starlight mints, peppermints, anything sweet and minty they love. I can crinkle the wrapper to a starlight( those red and white mints by the door of many restaurants as you leave) and the horses will run over. Marq loves oreos and honey roasted pistachios also but Harley spits them out. Bob eats anything someone else seems to like.

Never had those but they look like wintogreen lifesavers which the boys love.

hello everyone.

Craziness going on in these parts. This guy murdered 4 Lakewood police officers on Sunday morning. He knew police frequented a particular coffee shop. As he finished his order he pulled out a gun, turned and killed all four. No reason other than he wanted to kill police. :(

This morning Seattle PD shot and killed the guy. It feels like an empty "victory".

I heard about that but not about being caught.

Is the PD in trouble?

The real sad thing is that this guy was put away for life. He was let out and 4 people paid the price. The guy who let him go should be held accountable.

I had a feeling that's how it was going to end. I hope the officer won't get into trouble though, according to reports the guy was carrying a gun and refused to drop it when he was told to...

Such an awful awful story. The whole thing is just devastating :(

From candy canes and polo mints to this in 3 posts. This place is amazing.

It is a very sad fact of life that we live in a violent society, be it state sponsored, criminal or psychopathic. It sometimes amazes me that we have lasted this long.
