I saw on the news some kid somewhere decided to test the theory that you can, indeed get your tongue stuck to a flagpole. The answer is: yes you can. When I was a kid one of my not so bright friends did that but to a train rail. He too got stuck but was able to RIP his tongue off when we told him we heard a train. thomascanty wrote in post #9172016 Google loves POTN! She will be there for about 2 weeks and then they evaluate her. If she seems better she will go back to assisted living. If not, they will move her to a more permanent place that can deal with her problems long term. I'm glad she is getting help and hopefully they will be able to address the demons that haunt her. Good luck to you all. Not sure why, but call me JJ.

I guess the guy went to stop in a school zone and slid a bit even though he had good tires. He had a couple sand bags in his vehicle, got it out and proceeded to put some down at the intersection to aid people in stopping, and a bylaw officer happened by, telling him to stop at once, that it was illegal for a citizen to do any type of work on a road, and he could get a $500 fine for doing so. It really strikes me as idiotic, that this bylaw officer would not just look past the legal technicalities of this good deed, and move on, instead of trying to be the big shot. What about the safety of the kis? Some people, I tell you. -JIM-
