Does anyone know what happens if you order prints from smuggy, have them sent to someone else, but that someone else is never home to get the delivery? I ordered prints and had them sent to daughter. I didn't know that they were going to send them via UPS and that they had to be signed for. When I order for myself they come in regular mail.
I figure UPS will return the prints, but do I contact smuggy or the lab they use to find out what is going on?

Did they send you the tracking number?

I'm not sure what account level you have. I ordered something the other day to be shipped to a family member and they sent me the tracking number when it was shipped (fedex).

UPS should leave a note on the door and she can arrange to go pick it up at the UPS office.

Do they not just take them to their closest office where she would pick them up. Here they try to deliver twice, and after that leave you a note where to come pick them up.

Check with your local post office/ups/fedex. That is what happens if I am not about after 2 delivery attempts. They keep it at the for about a month before returning it to the sender.

I'm not sure if they will take it to the UPS office. They left a notice for her saying today was the last attempt they would make. Nothing else. No telling her to go anywhere to pick it up. Yes I have the tracking # and I have the pro account.

Yeah, she can call the number and they will hold it for her. But if she doesn't call, they'll likely return it.

To late. I called UPS and he said it's on it's way back to shipper. I have to call the shipper and make new arrangements. GRRRRR!!!! If I had known it would be shipped diffrently from how they come to me, I would of done something else. I had NO idea it was going to require a signature.
I sent an email to smugmug. Will see what they have to say.

you know...I saw my step mom for the first time since June, yesterday. She visited for a while and then finally said "I just have to say, I CANNOT BELIEVE how grey your hair is. I KNOW you said you have grey hair but really, your hair is VERY grey. Much more than I ever imagined..."

I get this a lot. I can't see any of my old friends without them going on and on about it. One wonders when it will stop :lol:

They pick the best/cheapest method from wherever they're coming from to the destination. If you ordered via ezprints, they're coming from Georgia. If you ordered from Bay they're coming from California.

Smuggy customer service is the absolute best. Hopefully they'll have a good answer for you.

I thought your hair looked nice when we saw you in June. I wouldn't worry about it...
