here is what they saw lol

Ouija looks like she could kill someone, if they tried putting clothes on her.

I did.

And I've been meaning to bring that up...

I won't be able to do that this year. I would love to... and it's become quite a tradition, but we're going to have to skip this year.

Know that I WANT to, and I'll be sending sweet thoughts to all of you. :)

Sweet thoughts are better for my diet. Cat, we know that you are extremely busy right now with HART (but can you send me your recipe in case I want to try it)

Update: Mom is in a mental hospital that keeps a close eye on suicidal people. She will be there for about 2 weeks and then they evaluate her. If she seems better she will go back to assisted living. If not, they will move her to a more permanent place that can deal with her problems long term.

Hope she gets better soon Paula, or at least the help she needs.

I listened to a guy yesterday phone in to a talk show where they were discussing clearing the snow from city streets. I guess the guy went to stop in a school zone and slid a bit even though he had good tires. He had a couple sand bags in his vehicle, got it out and proceeded to put some down at the intersection to aid people in stopping, and a bylaw officer happened by, telling him to stop at once, that it was illegal for a citizen to do any type of work on a road, and he could get a $500 fine for doing so. It really strikes me as idiotic, that this bylaw officer would not just look past the legal technicalities of this good deed, and move on, instead of trying to be the big shot. What about the safety of the kis? Some people, I tell you.

some people are stupid when it comes to real life

oh my gosh, the cutest thing just happened.

I was on the cell phone with Tif and Dan called the house phone (since I hadn't picked up the beep on the cell) so I hung up with Tif and was talking to D on the house phone. He wanted to talk to Kona (Kona likes to hear his voice) so I turned on the speaker and he talked to him for a while. K was super attentive, looking at the phone while Dan talked. So then during this, Hale had to go out to go to the bathroom...K went with her. I finished my phone conversation with Dan and let them both back in. Kona went over to the coffee table where the phone was, picked it up and went over to exactly where he was standing when Dan was talking to him. He dropped the phone on the floor, squatted down (bum in the air) and went "woof" (he doesn't bark as a rule) right at the phone. He wanted to talk to his dad. It was SO STINKING CUTE! And he is one smart dog!

That is adorable Lisa

Aidan finally earned the transformer helmet he's been drooling over for months.

He's playing with Ian's blocks.

He just wants to make you think he like the blocks instead

I was in the hallway cleaning up a bit.
Wade was in the living room doing some training with Simon.

This is what I heard:

Simon, sit.
Simon, stay.
Simon, sit.
Simon, down... No Simon! I didn't say Simon says. LOL!!!

It struck me SOOO funny. I'm STILL laughing.

LMAO

I met with one of my clients parents today at their home, they are aging and not able to come out to us anymore. What amazing people, 10 children, 7 with some type of developmental delay (except one with cystic fibrosys) and only 2 of those 7 still with us. They are full of hope and joy, adore each and every one of their children and have nothing but love for the world.

We need more people like this in the world today.

Thanks Cat, that did give me a smile. Its nothing bad guys, just really, really stressed out with hubs' schedules and stuff right now. And trying to make Christmas special w/o going over budget...not that we're tight, we just decided to cut way back on useless stuff this year. Turns out I'm pretty well doing it on my own for the time being.

Wish I could help. Send the kids out here John can watch them while I am at work :)

HAHAHHA!!! Just saw a commercial where a woman goes to poor a cup of coffee in the morning. Her coffee cup takes off and drags her to the store right up to a dunken doughnuts coffee bag. I thought of Lisa trying to poor a cup of coffee that she hadn't roasted herself and her cup dragging her all over to find the "right" stuff.:lol::lol::lol:

Things are a bit tense right now. Lisa just finished a book series and is now attempting to find the "next" series to read. Things get a little on edge when she's in book limbo like this.

My Calvin and Hobbes suggestion did NOT win me any points.

I am in search of some sea salt caramels this year.
I had some last year that were a gift, and it was the BEST most amazing candy I'd ever had.
Chewy perfect caramel, covered in dark chocolate, and sprinkled with crunchy sea salt.

Can't seem to find any here. So I'm on an internet search.

Nice form. *holds up card with 9.8 on it* I would have given you a perfect ten had you washed it down with half and half.
