Have to try them - I should be passing one or another TJ's today (yeah, gotta rub it in since we don't have the Columbia Gorge). Our favourites are the Triple Ginger Snaps. T.D. wrote in post #9175240 Really?! Very cool! EDIT: Just checked their website! Yep, it's listed as coming soon! That's good news! ![]() They've even listed the address: Trader Joe's Corvallis (154) - Coming Soon 1550 NW 9th St Corvallis, OR 97330 Phone Number: tbd Trading Hours: 8:00 am - 9:00 pm Cool for you guys. It was quite the big deal. Lorraine's husband, Jim, went to the council meeting and asked for it, and they said yes! It is fencing that was around a dumping area that they closed down a while ago. It's a LOT of fencing. A few acres. We had to have unanimous approval from several city mayors, so it really is great that we got it! We got a company to donate a bunch of men and hours, and equipment, to help us remove it. Tomorrow is the big day. We're talking back hoes and semi trucks. WOOT!This fencing is going to be GREAT for us. We will be able to build several exercise yards at Apple Valley, and we are giving enough to one of the shelters that we work with so that they can build an exercise yard as well. I'm SO excited about it, but REALLY should be in bed getting a little sleep. LOL. Will be a long day tomorrow. Cool! thomascanty wrote in post #9176412 Wouldn't be a very good idea here today. What is smokeless powder? puddlepirate44 wrote in post #9174344 New Diet! I'm really excited to try this one: Day 1: Fasting. Plenty of fluids. Clear broths OK. Day 2: All Veggie Day! Go with a variety of colors to get the full vitamin impact. Day 3: Add Fruits to the mix. Again, the more colors taken it will guarantee maximum vitamin intake. Day 4: As before, maximize plant intake, but, in the afternoon, you may have a one ounce cube of boneless, skinless, blanched and boiled chicken. Day 5: Veggies, fruits, two whole cubes of the above chicken and .005 ounce of mild cheddar. Day 6: Same as Day 5, also a treat! Add 4 oz of fat free soy milk! Day 7: Start off with a big bag of chips then move on to a salami sandwich and a coke. First coffee break, two cups of coffee with all the half and half you can stomach with a half gallon of ice cream. Lunch will consist of the left side of the menu. Mid afternoon snack would be a simple large pizza with extra cheese. Dinner would be basic fare of lasagne, a loaf of garlic bread and a salad loaded with dressing. Dessert, as you've deserved a prize for doing this insane diet for a week would be an entire chocolate cake. That evening, you will stay in the hospital overnight for observation after the stomach pump. Then the cycle repeats with... Day 1: Fasting. Plenty of fluids. Clear broths OK....
