last night we had some tasty pfeffernuse (or however you spell that).

I believe the correct spelling is "whattheheckisthat".

That's cool! What is smokeless powder?

Gun powder that does not create smoke when it deflagrates.

Have to try them - I should be passing one or another TJ's today (yeah, gotta rub it in since we don't have the Columbia Gorge). Our favourites are the Triple Ginger Snaps.

Cool for you guys. I thought TJ's started around there though . . .

 on the gorge comment.

And, no, TJ's started somewhere else. Not sure where. We only a few in the state - mostly in Portland. Our closest one is 40 minutes away. Even though I live in the 2nd largest city in the state - and it's the state capitol - we don't have one. :( They say our median income is too low. I know that it would do really well here. So many folks from here drive to the one I mentioned above.

Don't know.

I got my copy of the magazine (free by the way) and was impressed with the way the light really made the picture on the cover.

No. Rangefinder is a really cool FREE photography magazine.

*note to self: in the future do not attempt to start photography related discussions in a photography forum*

It's powder... that doesn't smoke. Get it? Pretty cool.

That was cool. I watched the videos. Every time I see stuff like that, I want to get constant on light sources. We got one, then never used it. :o I thought it interesting that he had those constant on lights, AND he was still using a flash.

His philosophy was intriguing..... "You can take an average photo of an extraordinary thing, or an extraordinary photo of an average thing."

Too often I take average photos of average things. :o

Yeah, I saw that on the news the other day...all the UFO "experts" were like "wow..."

so obvious from the videos that it was an out of control rocket

G'Mae folks.

I hate it when the mystery is removed. I would have much prefered the UFO story. :)

So your asking if this is a magazine for Wisconsin metrosexual males?
