I'm told cases right now are mostly DUI's. We'll see, I don't mind serving just not a good time with the A-man visiting. We'll do what we have to do though.

CAT that is a great shot of Tev and Pups.

G'MAE all still catching up while trying to stay caught up but I shall be scarce until I know what exactly is in my schedule for the next few days. I will let you know as soon as I can.

Whew, what a long evening. My SIL wanted ride along, which I appreciated, however it took me on a different route and I made a wrong turn because I forgot to plug in the address in the GPS before leaving and she doesn't know how to make them work so we were 20 minutes or better off course though headed in the right direction was OK though as we got to the meet up point just a few minutes behind CJ and Marge. *deep breath* Then we sang all the kid songs we could think of in the between SIL telling Bax to go lay down, though if she had just left him alone he would have settled down any way but that got Aiden going also on telling Bax to lay down and we were all hungry so we decided to find a bite to eat in Dixon but the right route this time took us around all the places to eat so we had to back track. *deep breath* We decided to eat in the car so we could keep moving though we did get out to order so Aiden could go potty so then it was keeping Bax from trying to eat Aiden's food and in the middle of trying to eat Curt called wondering how far out we were and wanted to talk to Aiden but we all had our hands full so I held up the phone so Curt could say hi and Aiden could say hi back then we got to SIL's house and all the kids wanted to say hi and it was potty time again plus Bax needed to get out for a bit too but Baily's bone looked so good and it was hard to get him back in the car. *deep breath* Finally on the road again and Aiden kept asking "What's that?" like I could see what he was pointing at in the dark while trying to drive, but Bax settled right down since no one was on him to lay down all the time and then suddenly all was quiet it was nice and I turned on the CD player again then we got home said Hi to grandpa found Lightening McQueen which took awhile because I forgot exactly where I had put him when I cleaned at Thanksgiving the brushed teeth, final potty, into the jammies, a bed time story and instructions to stay in bed but OK to keep looking at the book after I came downstairs now I'm here with beer in hand. Ahhhhhh. *Deep breath*

So how are all of you doing?

holy moo....sounds like my life.

[mini rant] I feel sorry for the climbers that are up there, lost, I do. I feel for their families below waiting to hear word. I respect those that are searching for them in very violent and inclement weather.

Here's the thing, tho'. It's December. More specifically, it's December in the Northern Hemisphere.

When it's December in the Northern Hemisphere, you do not go on top of things that start with "Mount" or "Mountain" or "Alp" or even "Slightly Raised Landfill". You do not go climbing all over things that sport glaciers all year long.

Hey, I get the whole "Man v. Nature" thing. The "Climb it... because it's there" mentality. I can see the draw in that. But ponder this: When you do go up there to prove to yourself that you can conquer Nature (you can't, btw), and you eventually get lost, trapped and broken on the face of some mountain that you didn't respect, in December in the Northern Hemisphere, a bunch of people who did NOT want to go up onto that mountain will have to in order to save your stupid butt. Families will go through horrendous ordeals in the aftermath. Kids without parents.

All because you wanted to go on top of a Mountain. In December. In the Northern Hemisphere.

[/end mini rant]

Nice rant! Makes sense. I've always wondered why a person would climb up a mountain in December.

 "they" do. It is REALLY time you had that talk with him Cat. Want me to do it? I can explain it all real good but I am really sorry I will have to tell him what you and Wade did to get him.

OMG...I would love to be a fly on the wall for the Zane version of the birds and bees talk.

The news is reporting that the families are already giving their blessing to stop the searching. They are being very mature about the fact that there are many more lives on the line than the three climbers.

I remember hearing a trivia tidbit when I was a kid, that said pigs were the only animals other than humans who could get a sunburn. I guess that was just one more lie I was told back then.

Yes, lies all lies, although there are a few more interesting facts about pigs you may have heard.

How do you photograph a camouflaged dog?

With a very wide aperture, or maybe a strong flash, since going for backlight isn't going to work. Or you could search for some real, green grass. There must be some somewhere within a reasonable distance of you.

But Zoë is . . .

Got a notification from 'Norton' security this morning.
Says I have a worm that they can't automatically remove and to go 'here'. Link takes me to a norton page that tells me how to remove worm.

First step is to disable System Restore. (Doing this erases all previous restore points).

Yeah. no. That scares me. Is this a normal request for virus removal?

Yeah, pretty much. Since they don't know how long ago the computer got nailed, they'll want to prevent you from restoring the problem back in after you've cleaned it up.
