Good Morning Everyone
Woulda liked to sleep past 4:00 today, but was not in the cards.
Lisa did get me a 2 hr massage I go to later, should get me nice and relaxed.

I always fall asleep during a massage and miss the whole thing.

Mrs. Hatcher, I can only apologize for her poor judgement. Yes, Eli was correct in telling you what happened. I have now spent a long period of time explaining to her that this decision is unjust and not acceptable. Eli, as well as the other students will be allowed to participate in the concert tomorrow. Once again, I can only apologize for an employee who made a poor decision. I can assure you this will NEVER happen again. I hope to see you tomorrow. Thank you. Robert Kravitz -----Original Message----- From: Crissa Sent: Tue 12/15/2009 7:42 PM To: Robert Kravitz Subject: RE: holiday concert According to Eli he was not the only one, and there were "second chances" to try again after school. Regardless of whether the entire thing is even accurate, the perception is crystal clear. -----Original Message----- From: Robert Kravitz Sent: Tuesday, December 15, 2009 7:19 PM To: Crissa Subject: RE: holiday concert I am shocked to hear that Mrs. Yook told Eli this. This is not the belief of my entire philosophy of this school. I will call Mrs. Yook at home and respond to you later this evening with some answers. This is completely unacceptable to me. I will email again soon. Robert Kravitz -----Original Message----- From: Crissa Sent: Tue 12/15/2009 6:01 PM To: Robert Kravitz Subject: holiday concert Mr. Kravitz, As a parent of a 3rd grader I have heard all about the concert tomorrow, the songs to be played and the clothing to be worn. I have arranged for my mother, who cares for my ailing father at home on hospice care, to have an aide at the house so she can attend. Today, when I picked Eli up from the after-school program, for the first time in his entire school career, with all of its ups and downs, he told me he didn't want to go to school tomorrow. Why? Because Mrs. Yuk told him he couldn't play in the concert as he "isn't good enough". Perhaps (I truly hope) those words weren't used, but that is what he conveyed to me. Now pardon me as I stifle my urge to become enraged, but even if he played a single note on the recorder, he should, on principal alone, be allowed to play with the other students in his grade. Even if he put the damn thing to his lips and played NOTHING at all, he should be allowed up on stage. I will end this here, but you should know that I am quite upset. Crissa Hatcher Remind me to never make you angry. I'm not short. I'm concentrated awesome!

My work here is not done. Crissa
