Plow just made its third or fourth pass through here . . . When I headed out to restock the bird feeder, even with snowshoes I sank in 15-20" by the house (extra depth from the eaves, I think).

No dot pictures yet. I have only had time to take a few and I don't have the energy to mess with them right now.

Like real snow shoes that allow you to walk on top or shoes you wear out in the snow whilst building a snowman? That is plenty of snow, is it the heavy stuff?

Cool shots Jenn. :D
But why would you need a plow for the little snow that is on that street? It looks wet, is it likely to melt fairly soon? Great snowball fighting stuff.

Thanks Jim... Ummmm I live in the mountains... and I fancy NOT tearing down the street signs at the bottoms of the hills... At the moment, I would need to shovel out my van... but the mountains are not the place to mess with the snow...

Real snowshoes - slightly undersized as their primary purpose is packing down dog runs. It's fairly light, but packs nicely; certainly not a wet heavy snow.

Becky how did you size your photos for the calendar? It's cutting off part of my pics.

Using a 4 x 6 crop ratio in LR works for most the layout templates and then move the picture in the template frame.

For full size pictures you'll need to enter a crop ratio for the size of the calendar i.e. 8.5 X 11. Depending on the shot, you may still loose some of the image unless you add a border to the shot to allow for the crop.

I thought you were referring to the residential roads, where traffic is slower. You would not have fun here, the street we live on is about 6-8" thick of hardpacked snow and ice. I could not afford the taxes if they were to clean the snow out here. ;)
