Monterey is in a marvelous location....tons of great places to take photos, good seafood restaurants, an aquarium, and so much more. It's also a very expensive place.

Big Sur is a place of incredible beauty, and San Francisco is only a couple hours drive to the north.

Dadgummit, I'm gettin a little homesick for the Bay Area. :(

On our next sojourn to CA I will have to make a special effort to get up there.

I am sure the school is for all, waaaaaaaay back when he was in the air force it was called the army language school, I think it has a completely different name now.

Cool.. If I understand correctly, that school services all of the branches, not just Air Force.

I believe it's called the Naval Postgraduate School (which would be an odd name for an Air Force-only facility :lol:)
