I'm lucky, I got a nice clear night to test out my 50D. Here's what I came out with:

IMAGE NOT FOUND
HTTP response: NOT FOUND | MIME changed to 'image/png'


~12 minutes of exposures at ISO3200. There's quite a bit of light pollution here, but it's not that bad. This is my first attempt at stacking photos as well. How does it look?

looks nice, but how about a touch more contrast...

I do have photoshop lightroom. I use that to import all of my pictures. I didn't really play around with that one too much yet. Still working on the other pictures I took.

I attempted some stacking - I thought this was all about taking many underexposed images and "adding" them, but the systems I looked at are all expecting correct exposure then using multiple images for noise reduction. What did your do with what software? When you say 16mins I guess you mean several short exposures? Or do you have a tracking motor?

Yeah, I took a bunch of 30s exposures and stacked them. I wish I had a tracking motor, but I don't.
