Product question for speedlight > softbox

OK

So this may be a longshot but I remember reading somewhere that a fairly well known company was developing a new system to attach speedlights to softboxes ....

They had a metal bracket round them and the flash was mounted horizontally ...

So I can't for the life of me find the information again and wondered if anyone on hear knew what I was on about ?

Not sure what product you're referring to mate, but try this one - it works great for me. Examples here.

It's well made and works great. They have several softboxes that work with it. Check it out to see if it meets your needs.

I can see that it's a knock off of Lastolite Ezybox Hot Shoe, but how does the material compare? How would you describe its quality? I'm actually looking to buy one like the OP.

Pretty well made..But like most things,,time will tell..

I've come to realize that all my modifiers are for my big lights while all my speedlights have are lousy 32" umbrellas. Lol.

I'm glad spxxxx started this thread even though this wasn't what he was looking for. I sure need this.
