Here is my first try on the B&W 10 stop filter. There where lots of sea gulls but none showed up in the image. You can see the tide is rising.

If this is your first attempt, then be sure to keep posting as you go along.

This is excellent.

This is actually my second attempt. I did a lake and a waterfall but they are not worth posting!
On my Flickr, top 2nd page, you will also see an HDR of this same location. I like the clouds in this one better

Wow some great shots in this thread! you guys seem like the ones to ask: Any suggestions on a 8-10 stop ND filter to fit my Cokin z-pro holder? I have a Singh-ray ND grad that I love but they max out their solid ND a 5 stops.

So I just got a B+W 10 stop for Christmas and had some time today to play. Going to have to play with WB settings (4000K seems to work), but here is my first attempt.

Ryan, that looks very good. Great choice to leave out the color; gives it a cold, haunting feel. I like the branches in the foreground as well; good perspective.

Ryan, beautiful work. You had a nice scene to work with - looks like you're already getting the hang of the ND110.

Very beautiful shot with strong composition. BW works perfectly for this shot.

I am getting ready to purchase one of these, it seems that most people here are using the B+H filter, does anyone have any experience with the Hoya 9 stop? Just weighing my options thats all.

Thanks,

-Dave
