This is definitely darker than I typically like to go, but it's virtually spot-on to the real lighting of the scene so I didn't see a need to screw with it. I was hoping the storm clouds would part ways for some great golden hour light, but the blue tones have an appeal of their own, I suppose.

TRhoads Cream of the Crop More info | Aug 06, 2014 09:51 | #6087 I get a lot of noise on my 7D when I get over 2 minutes. Especially in anything that is at all under exposed. I have done quite a few at 5 minutes with my 5DII with little to no noise...and minor NR takes care of it... Website

Its nice and clean from noise. It was shot with a 1Ds III so I was pleasantly surprised with the low amount of noise. I would have used my 6D, but the rain was on and off so I didn't want to risk it.

TRhoads Cream of the Crop More info | I have only had the light through the viewfinder issue once...but the sun was DIRECTLY behind me and the camera...I was facing straight east...it blew that exposure up bad...now if I think it might be a problem, I cover it with my hat. Website

Although I am in Florida, and our sun is about 10x more intense than anywhere else this time of year, haha. The one good thing about it being so obvious is that if I do happen to forget to shut the viewfinder, the first shot will remind me almost instantly, haha.
