I have got and use a hitech 3 stop reverse grad occasionally for long exposures, more often than not I use regular lee grads!

Do you reverse stack them so you get the strip effect (like this http://www.onlandscape.co.uk …-reverse-nd-grad-filters/ (external link) ) ?
Sorry for the glut of questions...it's just that i have a set of LEE NDs and I have tried using that reverse stacking to darken the horizon. But it is very cumbersome and frustrating. I am considering biting the bullet and getting a true reverse grad.

the hitech IS a reverse grad, it's not a pair of grads used to create the effect. I have one that I'm looking to get rid of and have some grads that I'll probably post for sale. Maybe you can buy the whole set :-)

No I don't reverse stack for the reasons you state! I use the reverse on non long exposure sunrise and sunsets a lot more than I use it for long exposures where I can get away with using regular lee grads!

Oh...Sorry I thought I mentioned it. I picked up a Haida 10 stop screw on ND filter. I has almost no color cast and seems pretty resistant to flare. I got an 82mm filter for $83 bucks. LOL...I'll be replacing my 77mm B&W with another Haida real soon! ;)
