Thanks Travis, yes I took a very long hiatus. I'm trying to work the rust out shooting some things around here. The water is indeed plenty high up here. In fact I wish it would go down some...it's hard to shoot this lake at full pool. John

A good foggy morning... sure I'd be happy to do that. early to mid-May works good for that trail.. the green gets going good. Also, it's one of those that we would REALLY want to be hiking in while it is still dark. The falls I like to call Maidenhair Falls are best shot very early or you can get direct light... at least on a clear sunny day. John

I know where you were...just not sure how you got there.... LOL, it can be tricky. Right now the water level is up so you can only shoot it from this side. There is a pull off at the west end of the bridge, and a couple of trails that go along the shore. It's pretty trashy because a lot of people fish there. When the water is down and you can get on the bank there are some really good (and more dramatic) comps on the north side of the bridge. The biggest problem shooting from the south like this one is avoiding hanging limbs in the frame. In this shot I had to edit some out along the top of the frame and on the right edge. John
