Very best,

these are great but need to be in B+W IMO. They lack a lot of color, and could use some B+W action to pull out the clouds.

Agree on B+W, it was almost noon, worst light there is to experiment in!

Very best,

please don't take this the wrong way...if the shrubbery/scrub brush is the main subject, this is not a good scene for LE, the bush is either OOF or moving too much due to the LE. Also, the rock in the foreground is also OOF. A f/11 that means that focus was not achieved correctly.

From the OBX...didn't do as much LE as I thought I would. Always had the gear with me...just didn't use it as much. I think this was 13 stops. 2 Minutes.

A couple from this weekend on the Aberdeenshire coast. I was hoping to get a nice sunrise but the weather had other ideas.

Collieston harbour 30 second exposure.

Hackley bay, Aberdeenshire. 90 second exposure. Not sure if this one has a green cast to it or if it is just my monitors.

I didn't do a lot of LE in the OBX a couple weeks ago...did a few, and liked this one.
80 Seconds. .9Grad with the 10 Stop.

Simply wow. Thanks for your great contribution to this thread! The tones on this one and composition is lovely. Like a triangle pointing to the horizon. This is art!

very kind of you, thanks! The tones were a combination of Nik Silver EFEX and final toning in Topaz B&W Effects.
