I've got a bazillion (ok, more like 5) CF cards and am looking for some sort of small case I can toss in my camera pack that lets me separate them out somehow, so I can easily tell the full and empty ones apart.

Does such a thing exist?

Thanks for the suggestions.

I have this case and like it a lot. Just turn the used cards backwards to let you know they're full.

Try a Think Tank Pixel Pocket Rocket ... holds up to 10.
They also have one for 4-CF and 3-SD

They come included with a few of their bags.

I put them face backward when used.

I use a numbering method I first read about here. My cards are numbered 1, 2 , 3 etc. They are always used in strict rotation, so any card having a number less than the current card have been used. The numbers are large and done in heavy duty waterproof felt tip.

I've used this style of case for the last ten years...cards face up in the slots are ready to use...cards face down contain data. Cards are also numbered and have my contact info on them. So far, it has worked ok for me.

I sure like the Pelican. I also own the lowepro hard case. Both are great.

I see you got several tips, one more from me, I use Gepe Card safe extreme. I have one yellow and one grey.
When traveling I leave one Gepe with the full cards back at the hotel in a safe or in my locked suitcase.

+1.

Gepe is my favorite, the different color cases are very cool and they are watertight, they float, they could save your life!
