I'm originally from Lake George...I make it back up there about once a year. I bet there were some good photo opportunities this fall with the leaves and such.

If you want to get technical anything above NYC is considered "Upstate" although there is no actual definition of upstate NY.

Having grown up on Long Island, the flat lander's definition of upstate is anything due north of the city :)

Another Albany local here. Patiently waiting until spring when the weather warms up a bit and there's more than 45min of daylight left by the time I get home from work. Hoping to pick up a 17-40L and tripod soon. What is everyone looking forward to Photography wise in 2011?
