MS Release Pro Graphic Public Beta

I haven't heard much about this but I noticed this morning that MS have released their beta of MS Acrylic. I haven't downloaded it yet, tbh I can't see what it could do that PSCS doesn't but if you're so inclined you can download a copy at:

Please remember it's a beta so I would suggest using copies of files rather than originals to test it out on.

I just tried it. I have used PSP since like ver 3 or 4 and up, but not the latest vers, and PS since ver 5 up to CS2. I have tried a few other progs when I get versions with a printer or something. Not sure but it looks like MickeySoft rebranded some software. There are still a few bugs. I didn't really like it, but I am used to PS.

This is derived from Creature House Expression 3. It's a freestyle drawing/painting program - so not intended to compete with Photoshop. More like Corel Painter.

I had a go with an earlier release (when it was still called Expression) and it is pretty neat. Someone who knows about this kind of thing says it is really good - even though she hated the fact that Microsoft had bought it!

Looks like they've updated the viewer..
No longer Acrylic as far as I can tell..
