I've been teaching my wife photography and about wildlife. Up until a couple months ago she wouldn't even touch one of my cameras (said they were too complicated). Now she wants to go out shooting as much as I do. this shot was taken with a 40D 70-200 2.8 IS and a Tamron 1.4 converter by her.

Thanks guys ! She was off by herself when she spotted the hawk. She said she saw it fly into some trees , she then started to sneak up on it (I taught her how to do that LOL). When she got close she called me on her cell phone (I didn't teach her that LOL) saying it was flying back and forth from two trees . I said drop the phone and start shooting and I'll be right there. BY the time my slow old butt got there the hawk was gone. I think she did pretty good except for the calling me on the cell phone part. And by the way I didn't get any shots that day.
