Not 100% sure but I would guess they are the transponders for race/lap timing.

The stripe indicates the one of the tyre options. Unlike F1 they are allowed to go with whatever works for them. Possibly soft option, anyone able to confirm or refute? Richard

Toseland failed to perform last year and will return to World Superbikes in 2010. Richard
